My Sister's Wedding

.

My sister got married last week. We had the reception at the Fox. For her honeymoon she went to Argentina. Brooke and Rachael were flower girls and are on the right.

Here's a photo of us before the wedding:

DRIFTERS is finished. It's taken years to put together. It's the multi-year story of our experience with the Gila wilderness.

Now the part I dread . . . finding a publisher.

Having an independent income is vital to our homesteading goals.

I'll be working on another book - our 6 month experience in the traveling carnival, called RUNAWAY. I've only done 5 chapters so far. While I'm building during daylight up in Tennessee, I'll spend the evenings writing [instead of reading history, like I did last year].

I'll continue on the cabin in May.

We had another snowstorm here in Atlanta today. It's been quite a winter.

  1. You guys look so fancy! I'm excited to read Runaway; I've really enjoyed reading the chapters from your other books and hope you'll keep me posted on your progress.

    Take care, Rob.

  2. My first time in a tux. It felt like a clown suit.

Yeah 'Runaway' is going to be a challenge for me - it all happened 17 years ago. I only remember the highlights. Hopefully once I wade into the story more things will come back to me.

  3. You clean up well! LOL. And you have a beautiful family.

You're not kidding about it being quite a winter this year. We tried to go look at property in NE TN since December. Finally got there last weekend. Every time we planned to go it either snowed there or here, or it was too freakin' cold to even think about walking property. Crazy. Anyway, we didn't care for the property after all!! =\

I'm eager to see progress continue on your cabin. Yeeeha!! =)
